What is the difference between the Trad Pole 2.0 and the J2 Pole?

What is the difference between the Trad Pole 2.0 and the J2 Pole?

Both the XERO Trad Pole 2.0 and the J2 are extension poles designed for traditional window cleaning. When it comes to choosing one, the main factor is your style of cleaning.

XERO J2 Pole - The J2 Pole is a compact option for window cleaners working in tight spaces. Whether it's just awkward angles or you're working on storefronts and have to avoid the hazards of people walking past, this small 6 foot pole gives you enough additional reach to get the top corners of first floor windows. It collapses down to just 40 inches, so it's easy to transport and keep out of the way.

XERO Trad Pole 2.0 - The XERO Trad Pole 2.0 offers lengths from 8 feet to 20 feet while extended, with the 12 foot option even coming in multiple colors. These poles collapse down to 53" - 57". They give you greater freedom in working on taller windows.

Can I use my Trad Pole as a Water Fed Pole?

You sure can! XERO Trad Poles and water fed poles share a lot of similarities, from the clamps to the carbon fiber used. You can purchase the Deluxe Trad Pole Upgrade Kit to get the hose, brush, adapter, and fittings you need for the transition. Utilizing your equipment for multiple purposes helps keep your expenses low when you're first getting into water fed window cleaning.

Can I get a different pole tip?

Yes! XERO makes it easy to customize your pole to fit your needs. You can just grab a replacement Acme threaded tip, or get a XERO Trad Adapter that lets you use your favorite traditional tools from Unger and Ettore. And if you're feeling a little adventurous, grab a Euro Tip or XERO Fast Lock to dabble in water fed window cleaning.
