WHY A XERO BRUSH?

WHY A XERO BRUSH?

Every window cleaner needs a good brush (or two, or three) for scrubbing dirt and grime off of glass. XERO Brushes are both durable and affordable. You have your choice of Hybrid, Boar's Hair, and Nylon bristles so there's one to match your cleaning style.

FAQ

What is the best water fed brush?

The best waterfed brush for general window cleaning is the XERO Hybrid brush. These versatile brushes have both nylon and boar's hair bristles giving you the perfect balance between optimal glide and aggressive scrubbing.

What's the difference between a Boar's Hair Brush and a Nylon Brush?
  • A Nylon Brush is the least aggressive option. These are great for regular cleaning jobs because you don't need a heavy brush to agitate up all the dirt. The dirt also easily rinses off the bristles so they are easy to keep clean.
  • A Boar's Hair Brush is made for those extra dirty windows. The bristles are very aggressive to scrub up stuck on grime. The downside is that these brushes are heavy when wet, they tend to hold onto the dirt which means you may transfer it to another window, and they can wear out faster.
What is a Rinse Bar?

A rinse bar is exactly what the name implies, a bar that extends the span of the brush to help you efficiently rinse windows after you scrub them. You'll see most XERO brushes have a Rinse Bar option when you purchase them.

Rinse bars help you avoid having to touch the glass with potentially dirty brush bristles while doing the final rinse. Instead you can hold the brush slightly away from the glass as the water shoots over your bristles from the top of the brush. Rinse bars connect to your normal pole hose so you just have to use a simple push fitting to switch between the bar and brush jets.
