Is it hard to replace a pole clamp?

Is it hard to replace a pole clamp?

XERO made sure you wouldn't have trouble maintaining your water fed pole. All XERO pole clamps bolt onto the pole sections. No glue or specialty tools needed. Simply remove the old clamp, and screw on the new one.

You can also replace just the lever if that's what's giving you trouble.

If you need extra help with the swap, reach out to a product specialist who can walk you through it.

What is the difference between V3 and V4 clamps?

The XERO V4 Clamps are the updated version of the much loved V3 pole clamps. XERO improved the design to make these clamps even better to use.

  • The larger surface of the lever makes it easier to flip open when you have wet hands from working. They have an ergonomic design that is more comfortable to use. The new levers don't need to open as far as the V3 ones before you slide sections in or out.
  • These clamps grip the sections better to minimize any potential of sections spinning while you work.
  • The nut to adjust the clamp has a larger, easier to grip design.
  • These clamps also feature a spring mechanism to help keep everything tight while you work.

Can I put V4 clamps on my pole?

Absolutely! If you have an older XERO Pole that has the V3 clamps and you want to upgrade yourself to V4, it's easy to do. Simply unbolt the old clamp and slide it off. Then slide on the new V4 clamp and ensure it has a snug fit. Adjust the clamp lever as needed to securely hold the section above it.

You can also make the switch over time. If you need to replace a clamp today, but don't want to commit to changing them all, it's fine. Just change the one to V4. It'll work with the V3 clamps already on your pole.
