About the XERO Sediment Filter 5 Micron - 10 Inch

The XERO Sediment Filter is a top-notch replacement option for your purified water filtration system. This 2.5" x 10" filter is highly efficient and designed for optimal performance. With a 5-micron filter, it ensures thorough filtration, delivering pristine water. Additionally, this filter features a low-pressure drop while offering a high soil capacity, making it a reliable choice for removing contaminants from your water supply.

It is recommended to replace the filter every two months or when its capacity is full in order to maintain its effectiveness. Please note that this filter should only be used with water temperatures below 150°F / 65°C. 

To install, follow three simple steps: First, spin the filter housing off with a housing wrench. Then, remove the plastic wrapping off the filter and position the center hole on the shouldered ring on the bottom of the housing unit. Lastly, screw the housing into the base and tighten it with a small filter housing wrench
