The complete options come with a waterfed brush and the lenght of the pole + 10 feet of waterfed hose (for example a 30 foot pole will come with 40 feet of hose), where the bare pole is only the pole. Depending on the pole you are looking at, yes you can build your pole up with the Universal Extensions.
